Nice, wall glitch is finally replicated. I've seen this performed a couple times but never knew how to do it. The entire leaderboard is up for grabs now

Not right now (no mods are allowed), but it's an interesting idea. It'd need to be looked into. I'm not against having an RNG mod but it has to be unable to cause unintended effects.

There's no ruling against any glitch at the moment. I don't know how to do that one.

I don't think these should be added to the board due to how clunky it is to reach and re-do these missions.

Me/Buffet_Time can make any necessary changes to rules. Making it clear that campaign completed is the requirement, but that time ends on the mission completed/lost screen of the final level would be a good start I think.

If that rule is as old as the category is then there's a good chance that they just didn't consider mission loss at the time since it wasn't the strat, with the rules never getting better clarified when the strategy shifted to mission failures. It doesn't necessarily say the last level has to be completed with a success because way too much interpretation is possible. It'd be fairly illogical imo to only require the final level to be a success.

The reality is that this strat became accepted and ran by everyone for 5-6 years. The rules should be updated to reflect this and get rid of confusion. Right now there's no actual clear rules (what's allowed or not) listed at all, just the timing method rule.

If the campaign wasn't a success then the run isn't valid. The problem is that you killed all the troopers which results in campaign failure. Buffet_Time's wording wasn't exactly correct but I'm pretty sure he rejected it for this reason.

Yes, we'll add PS5 and Xbox to the list of platforms. A timer isn't needed.

Technically I did this on the latest patch available at the time I guess. I'm fine with them being added. If there's issues with balance changes/bug fixes making some of these times impossible to match I'd suggest 'currently possible' and 'no longer possible' subcategories.

To get the demo complete HUD screen you have to complete all objectives in any order. All 4 orbs are objectives.

Any category with special timing will have a timing image link or description in the category rules. this lets you know where the start and end points will be

The best and most accurate way is to use a video editor like davinci resolve (free). make a split at the start point, another at the end point, and cut out the excess video. using the timeline timer, you can see the time of your run by clicking on the end point. make sure the video segment starts at 0s in the timeline

An innacurate (few frames variance) alternative is to use a youtube video timer. one is linked in the resources tab. it tells you how to use it
