Be a little bit more respectful yeah?
That's my mistake, I thought Zen mode was only available through chapter select for some reason. Doesn't change the fact that Zen mode won't be allowed for Any% though.
"Beat the game in any way possible, as long as you are on a new save." This is in the rules, meaning you can't start the run from chapter select.
Now it just looks like you guys are getting a bunch of your friends to make posts on the forum or reply to other posts about the situation to try and help your case, that's not gonna work in the slightest lol. The fact that people need a "leaderboard" to speedrun a game is pathetic, anyone can do anything they want and post whatever runs they want on YouTube and claim it as WR, that's your own choice. You don't need a leaderboard to do a speedrun, and having your run on a leaderboard will barely help you get any extra views if that's all you care about and if that IS all you care about then you shouldn't be speedrunning at all.
I've already made my feelings very clear on the situation, I hate anything to do with externally capping the FPS to do certain tricks and this is why I rejected the run instantly and added it to the rules. To me it's not the in the nature of speedrunning and I know some games allow it but that can't be an excuse for every game to allow it or every speedrun is just gonna turn into a shitfest. Like I've said previously, this game already has glitches, like holding an enemy at high fps allows you to walk through walls and that doesn't require capping the FPS mid run, all you need is the game lol. So at this point I'd rather let the other mods make the decision because I'm very biased on this.
Runner submitted to a category that doesn't even exist and I stupidly didn't check the time they submitted with, I just made sure the time was correct in the vod lmao
You would need to stream directly to Twitch or YouTube from the console, then highlight the video after the run. If streaming to Twitch then make sure you enable "Store past broadcasts" in the Twitch settings on your account.
Buy it, it's on gog https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_suffering_ties_that_bind
You have to do it all in one sitting, you can take breaks but they will need to be included in the run time.
That's what restricted is for, unrestricted is what it says, unrestricted meaning you can use whatever accessibilites and extra modifiers like cheats that you want. The rules very clearly state the difference between the categories, you're wanting to look at the restricted category which doesn't allow the use of game modifiers.
