Interesting, only way I knew to skip dialogue was to eat/smoke/drink while he talks. Nice find, I’ll play around with it and see if I can implement it in the run (although it’s not all missions they allow you to dive sadly :( )
i like this since you have to collect both iron and pumpkins, which would make for some interesting seeds.
I made a guide for this here https://www.speedrun.com/rdr2/guide/meca4
Hey I'm just curious why the ILs for mining emerald and diamond allow the player to pick up the ore after it being exploded by a creeper. In my head, the rule clearly states that you have to mine the ore, presumably with some sort of pickaxe. But the runs skip this stage and just pick it up after a creeper has exploded it, and there's a big difference between these two things since in the first scenario you mine it and then pick it up, and in the second scenario the creeper happens to explode it and then you pick it up afterwards; you haven't mined the emerald/diamond. Now I still think the runs are cool and it's a creative idea, but my idea is that you either add the creeper runs to "obtain an emerald/diamond" since that's what you did; you obtained it but you didn't mine it. That's one solution. You could also make a sub category for these runs, or you could make a clearer/more definitive definition of the run, to avoid any confusion. but this is all just me being curious, and it's really just an idea so don't take it too personally. I would love to discuss it.
I think it would be cool to have a category for completing each challenge from scratch. So like hunter challenge%, sharpshooter% etc.
You could also do something legendary animal related.
Though I’m not quite sure if it should be main cat. or extended, since there have been talk about adding something like that to the main category.
It seems that to delete preordered content you can delete it from notifications (PS4) or you will have to reinstall your game
My longest run is probably around an hour idk, but i'm about to do a 15 hour RDR2 run in like a week
I don't care much about that specific category, but I guess. How much does DLC and preorder add to the game though? Because I don't think it's worth having a category if it just gives you a few items etc., but then again, it's just a category extension so maybe.
I think it would be cool to have legendary animal/challenge categories
I like this suggestion, it'd be cool to have some shorter speedruns than the 15 hour one. Good with some variation, and it would also make for a cool route.
I have no idea, although maybe making a new user on your PS4 or xbox would do it?
I think it's interesting since you have to be really efficient in getting ressources. And it's also interesting in a random seed category since there can be random factors about the map etc.: like spawning at a mountain, finding a dungeon or similar things
i will also run this
