You submitted a run that is NOT yours, that does NOT follow the rules, in a category (difficulty) that does NOT exist on this board...

And on a personal note, i think its weird that u submit another players run re-uploaded on your own channel.

i think your run would have been rejected no matter what, cause u did not read the rules:

"IMPORTANT: At the end of each successful run. The difficulty MUST be shown by pressing F2 and selecting "Game Options." Any run that doesn't show this in the video WILL NOT BE VERIFIED."

Added IL board and allowed emulator for it! Emulator will NOT be allowed for full runs as of now, because the sound cutting off is still an issue...

It seems that the only way for me to cap the framerate of my game to 75 is to go into the Nvidia control panel:

1. go into "Program Settings" and click on "Add" and then "Browse"

2. locate the game executable and add it

3. set "Max Framerate" to whatever u need

To enable debug mode on the PC version, on the numpad press & hold: NUM LOCK + DIV + MINUS

if u have a tenkeyless keyboard like me, i guess ur just screwed...

Commands:

F2 KEY: Toggles HUD visibility

F3 KEY: Toggle player visibility

F4 KEY: Show player respawner (only used in levels where player can fall off stage)

F5 KEY: Save game to current save state

F6 KEY: Loads game from current save state

F7 KEY and F8 KEY: Change current save state number

T KEY: Makes player invincible

O KEY: Unlocks all special weapons (I think it has to be pressed in a level)

SHIFT + 0-7 KEYS (not numpad): Warp to checkpoints 0 through 7

0-7 KEYS: Equips chips to Slot 1 (1st page of chips)

0-7 KEYS + CTRL: Equips chips to Slot 1 (2st page of chips)

0-7 KEYS + C : Equips chips to Slot 2 (1st page of chips)

0-7 KEYS + C + CTRL: Equips chips to Slot 2 (2st page of chips)

IMO If it is not speedrun related, then it has no place in here. If u want to add a survival related speedrun tho then it should be suggested for the category extension board.

Besides, NGRealm is already a forum that keeps track of these things.

I can confirm that it worked and even tho the main menu screen still has the latest version number showing, the game is in fact downgraded! Thx again!

For anyone who wants to downgrade (Steam) just do this:

• launch steam console (open a command window by pressing "Win + R" and enter the command: steam://open/console and press "Enter")

• copy/paste this command: download_depot 1942010 1942011 7368834187951042536

• wait till the console tells u that everything is downloaded & replace your game files with the ones u just downloaded

also: most of the runs are on the older patch, am i allowed to downgrade and run on the older patch? because to be honest, that boss skip saves a TON of time and its not possible anymore on the new patch, but the WR run is on the older patch... imo somethig has to be done... u need to allow older patches or split up the board or something, cause this is SUPER unfair imo, it is a huge timesave nobody can ever get again. (imo the older patch should just be the standart for running this game, nobody is forcing us to use the new patch, if everyone agrees we can just use the "better" version)
