Why do all runs have milliseconds on the time? There doesn't appear to be any important reason for them (as the game isn't optimized enough) and it would just cause extra time spent timing runs.
Can the Wii U be added as a platform for Go Vacation? You can play Wii games on the Wii U but saying "Wii" as the platform seems wrong.
I suggest adding a variable for physical or digital version on the leaderboard.
Three lategame categories that would make sense for the leaderboard are All Silvers, All Golds, and 100%. Obviously, these won't get a lot of runs, but they are categories to look into.
All Silvers: Pretty straightforward. It would require getting all silver keys on Wii version and all silver stars on Switch.
All Golds: Not as straightforward. All gold keys on Wii, but I'm unsure what this would be on Switch. Gold keys/stars don't appear to be present here, so this is uncertain.
100%: Pretty straightforward. All gold keys, photo spots, and treasure chests on Wii. You'd get all silver stars, photo spots, treasure chests, and animal photos on Switch, and maybe max level, but I'm not sure. (You would also have to get '5's instead of '4's where applicable and get all fish in Scuba Diving.)
As I said before, these are categories that don't need to be added any time soon, but perhaps keep them in the back of your mind just in case.
What are your plans for the leaderboard when Go Vacation Switch comes out?
We have five runs with video! So can this be a new category? Timing should start at the end of the countdown of the first race and end at the end of the final one. You must do all freerun races.
Here are the videos:
An idea for a new category. Timing would start at the start of the first race and end at the end of the last one. All races must be completed. There could be a video requirement at around 25 minutes. How does that sound?
By the way, here is a video of an okay-ish run I did of the category:
I know that the main SMO speedrunning board has video requirements for certain time thresholds. Does the meme board have video rules as well?
