I want to stop speedrunning on an emulator on my computer, because I plainly just don't like it.
I would get a SNES, but they are quite unreliable just because they are old, if it breaks in some way I will have to get a new one (most likely). However they are quite expensive and I seriously have no idea what output they use (i.e. the NES Classic used a modern day HDMI, no clue what an old NES/SNES would use).
The NES Classic has so much input delay it is unreal, but is the SNES Classic any different? I have heard the Wii Virtual Console has some input delay, but not enough for good times to be unachievable.
is the SNES Classic the same thing?
What does this mean for speedrunning? Could we separate the categories to pre Prison update and Post Prison update? I am quite sure for solo runs you can download older versions of Phasmophobia and play on that, but I don't think you can connect with other people if you have older versions, need to test if it is possible for two people to be running the same old version and play with each other.
I think my 1337 Mode Patch that I downloaded (I know 100% it was the depot ID you guys gave me) is broken.
When the door stays open, as intended, nothing can happen after that, not only can Lucas not come again (which I know is intended), but I can't get hacked, the power can't go out, and the Noir never appear. I even sat on FreeWifiNoVirus for like 40 in game minutes, and the police never showed up. I also triggered the doll maker and nothing ever happened, not even the music.
Anyone know what could be causing this? I'm guessing the answer is just redownload it and if that doesn't work oh well, but I want to see if anyone else had this issue or if I did something myself to cause it.

I found the easiest way to get to the hellneighborgame.com splash screen, doing this, you can get to it while the screen is still white, and it is simple. The second you go into the door, hold Shift + S/Backwards, when you enter the basement, you spawn with your back to the closet point where the splash screen can come up.
So i have been trying to beat ccrusher1's record for any% alpha 1 and i have been trying for about 2 months now and i cant. Spynine01 said he beat it off camera but has no evidence of this. I just wanted to know if anyone thought itbwas impossible to beat hos record cuz my best is 58.97

This is a game with a lot of skips and different things, if you are serious about getting records you should learn the skips and download the cutscene skip found in resources. When I am writing this it is the fastest skip we have found. Or if you are new and just want to have fun you could just run the game with no skips but I encourage you to learn and get the skips!

Rlly how do you expect people to be able to do all custom nights on very hard difficulty in one run? (Especially golden freddy)
