An optimal any% run on X1 is already no subtanks, no heart-tanks, no upgrades (besides the unskippable ones). X2 and X3 are different because you can skip all the armor upgrades, and there's fastest way to end the game in their respective any% routes (getting shoryuken in X2, getting the dash boots and the saber in X3).

For MMX, any% is basically low% given that you can't skip the dash boots and the buster upgrade.

Suggestion for next submissions: Try to highlight your video in order to have the run only and not a full stream (uploading the vod to youtube can be useful). Also, facebook gaming is not that friendly.

Strictly speaking on the speedrun sense, Laser is right. That said, I will let you guys to reach a consensus and decide about cape rooms requirement, and I will change the rules afterwards. The competition is still very premature, we are in time to think and decide on this.

About renaming All Exits to 100%, it doesn't make sense because 100% would imply finding everything, secrets and whatever it's hidden, and I don't think runners want to go for that (reason because GPW2 portrait% doesn't exist), but again, the community decides.

Hi guys. First of all I wish a Happy New Year to everyone! I need to ask for putting this romhack (https://www.speedrun.com/lessness_world) that I moderate, as a Super Mario World ROM Hack, just like the most of romhacks in here.

Because runs haven't require verification

I did this mistake in the past, but for new entries, don't put the RTA, just IGT. (Idk if is possible to remove RTA from Ceres Escape leaderboard).

I started to speedrunning Super Metroid last year (100% item collection), and the first trick that I learned is mockball, the easy method (touching the ceiling). That would be a basic and an esential trick to start speedrunning this game, I guess.
