Following is a numbered list of locations necessary to hit in order to pick up everything needed to complete the game. Following each area is the list of teleport locations close by. Check requirements for each area. The order is not set in stone, and some areas can be done out of order depending on the requirements.

1. Serpent Hold -- skiff, chain armor, skull key -- East of Serpent Hold is fastest (nothing else comes close)

2. Paws -- Stones music, blue (invis) potions, lockpick -- Use Skiff to reach Buccaneer's Den to learn about Grappling hook -- British Castle is fastest -- Skara Brae is 1 second slower -- Trinsic is 5 seconds slower, but you can also pick up Shame password on the way 2a) Buccaneer's Den (R: Skiff) -- grappling hook clue -- Traveling there from Paws shop is fastest -- British Castle is 30 seconds slower -- Skara Brae is 38 seconds slower -- Trinsic is 40 seconds slower

3. British Castle (R: lockpicks, Stones music) -- box, carpet -- British Castle is fastest -- Yew is 36 seconds slower

4. Empath Abbey (R: Buccaneer's Den clue from Bidney) - grappling hook, talisman (makes teleporting faster) -- Yew is fastest -- Iolo's Hut is 23 seconds slower (requires carpet) -- Skara Brae is 32 seconds slower (requires carpet) -- British Castle is 36 seconds slower (requires carpet)

5. Sceptre Fort (R: grappling hook, lockpick, skull key) -- sceptre -- Minoc is fastest (does not require carpet, but it helps) -- British Castle is 30+ seconds slower (requires carpet)

6. Jehlom (R: Carpet or Skiff) -- Tym Scroll (11 seconds faster than store south east of Iolo's), Destard password -- Trinsic is fastest -- Alternatively use tent twice right after starting, and the evening moongate will lead to Jehlom -- this is 19 seconds faster than Trinsic, but means you've wasted a lot of time since you should enter Destard before nightfall. -- From Trinsic moongate (default gate on first night) it's 12 seconds faster, but again, you've already lost time waiting for night fall

7. Trinsic - Shame password -- Don't forget this (Trinsic is fastest obviously)

8. Destard (R: carpet, blue potion, chain mail, Destard password) -- Trinsic is fastest -- Trinsic moon gate is second fastest (not timed)

9. Shame (R: Shame password, carpet, blue potion, skiff, amulet, sceptre, tym scroll, box) -- Yew is fastest -- Skara Brae is 4 seconds slower -- British Castle is 11 seconds slower
