Unfortunately, my time and NinjaNas's times for Center Perks Any% Glitchless are so close that it is down to around 5 or 6 milliseconds. My run is second place still, however speedrun.com is trying to make it first. To avoid problems and mishaps like this, a generally optional millisecond time selection will most likely be needed for present and future situations.
Thank you for considering, and NinjaNas i'm coming for that bop ;)
Haha it's pretty close. I didn't realize how good your run was until after the PB run that made us milliseconds off. But the thing is, all I had to do was die quicker or click the forks faster and it would've been WR so it's crazy the way timesave happens in this.
Maybe next week before I can run again. Also I been working on running learn to fly 2 which I have two new records on. I will upload them this evening.
Sweet dude congrats :) I hope you're not mad I bopped you :( My time can still be improved by a lot.
I'm not mad. That is how speedrunning is supposed to be like, it is supposed to get competitive to point where a run can't be beaten. I'm lucky that you didn't find some duct tape in your WR run. I have some ideas to make the run about 1-2 seconds better but I'm not sure if it's going to work.
The way I recommend getting the thousandth of a second to prevent confusion is to use VirtualDub. VirtualDub is an old program, so you're going to need a plugin in order to allow VirtualDub to open any video file.
I use mp4s or flvs, so in order to get them to work, I use the VirtualDub FFMPEG Input Plugin (https://bit.ly/2z8fY4f) in order to open any of them. Go frame by frame using the arrow keys.
This is also how I got my thousandth of a second in my runs.
