Interestingly, I noticed that the WiiWare version of Stage Racer allowed the piece to fall to the bottom of the field unlike in the Deluxe version, resulting in a potentially faster time in the WiiWare version. Also, the "Stage" in Deluxe seems to start a bit earlier than the WiIWare version. Not sure of any other differences gameplay-wise between the two versions.
