In Spyro 2 there is an in game code to unlock all abilities that is used in NG+ runs. In J however pressing [O] has the same result as pressing [X] and will exit you out of the menu. After some trial and error, I have found the All Abilities code. Pause the game and enter R1, R1, R1, R1, SQUARE and you will hear a chime indicating you have been successful. You now have access to swim, climb and headbash. Enjoy!!
