So I was doing a human theory TAS, and discovered this clip! It saves time, but you don't clip far enough down, forcing you to bonk against the warp zone pipes. But I will update you guys if I find I new one. Link to video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r2U8jWk24ec_zJdKmh3Eu6nbOaRiioMD/view
It doesn't save any time over the "wall-clip" and "pipe-clip" though and is very hard to pull of in a normal run.
It is similiar to Goofy's method:
That is what I was trying to do for like half an hour but i couldn't pull it off. Does the koopa shell kick manipulate subpixels or something?
I don't think so. He just runs back a little to wait for a platform to be low enough to perform a clip.
Yeah it's just to wait for the platform you just pray for good subpixels. Goofychocobo found this.
This clip is at least 9 years old, if not older haha.
@Kosmic Seriously? And only now people are actually trying to do it? y fast 4-2 > 1-2g
@Lul_ecks_dee you have a great point like 10 people have done it before INCLUDING Kosmic himself. Lol
