i wouldn't ban it actually, the sense of 20 star is that you don't do the first major skip to B1 because it is (or at least it was) a lot harder than the other 2 major skips, So everything else is allowed + Key 1 skip is not necessary to be done so you could leave it out.
The best thing probably is to imagine the situation that there wouldn't be any kind of a 20 "star door" skip and 20 star is the real any%. So there wouldn't be any restrictions for the category (except that first major skip) since there is no 0 Star. And in our case 20 Star is basically the same like in the scenario just that a 0 star category does exist. Therefore is a 20 star door skip the only thing that should be banned in 20 star (in my opinion).
i seriously can't remember that it was said "hard skips", i thought it was just "the hard skip" like the first major skip. I mean i still can understand that you and others won't want Key 1 Skip being a thing in 20 star but i still don't think it should be banned (still with the reason that it's not a "necessary" major skip). All the 3 other major skips are and those major skip were the roots i thought. And especially because Key 1 Skip isn't necessary to be done, banning it because it could kill the category would be like banning other skips and shortcuts that uses to be hard because they could potencially kill 20 star as well. But i'm still waiting for other people to say their opinions too :P
