This technique works for pressing the speedrun button (Don't know if this works for unlocking areas, etc.) and can save about 200ms - 450ms.

First off, make sure you have the salute emote. You can get it for free in the catalog.

Secondly, makes sure your body type is at 100%, or close to 100%.

Next, make sure you go a little bit in front of the "Speedrun Button" sign.

Once you are there, activate the emote by saying, "/e salute" in the chat or just activate it in the emote wheel. Once the emote hits the button, shift lock and move away.
