When you look at the official rules for the game, it says that a run will be rejected if there is no game audio, which the no music deterministic patch obviously removes. Does that make it unviable for actual runs of the game?
Afaik the no music deterministic removes only music, but keeps audio such as checkpoints, dying, jumping and springs in, which are enough to count as audio for verification
Yes, you are NOT allowed to use the no music version for full game runs. it is used for more practice
as a mod I can confirm that that is not true at all and you absolutely CAN use the no music hack for runs if you so wish
