Hello everyone! I just wanted to say a few things. It’s not often a speedrun community is backed by the creator themselves as well as a fairly large community. It's just crazy to me how much I saw it grow. I am truly honored to have founded this page. I honestly thought it would be just me who was here, but boy was I wrong. I also wanted to say thanks to the mods and the game developer vendara for all their hard work over the years as they have been approving your runs like crazy, and providing us with new content to run, and also thank you all for being here and your support over the years!

In further news… in celebration of all the support and growth this community has had I have decided to run a giveaway for this Christmas season. Whether you celebrate or not you are welcome to enter. SMALL RULE UPDATE CHANGES

For your convenience as well as ours, the moderator team has decided to only require videos for the top 5 runs. If your run is lower than that, than you only have to submit a screenshot of the final time. Thank you for your continual support.

CATEGORY RULES

-Runs need to be able to show the timer at 00:00:00 if it does not then the run will be rejected

-Your submission time is determined from in game timer.

-Runs need to be publicly viewable (This is not optional). Also they need to be embeds and not just links. YouTube is a great option (can be unlisted so that it can only be found here). If you have a problem with this please message a moderator and we will try and work with you.

-Use of the R key is allowed to reset a run. Just at least clip the recording so it doesn't show to much of the reset run, so that the mods know what run you are actually submitting.

*No longer need to record entire website window *Removal of unnecessary paragraphs *Links not allowed to prevent phishing or scams. This means all runs need to be embeds. If you cannot follow this one then message a moderator and we will work with you on this.

Can't belive this game hits one million plays today, you guys are awesome!

Since I always come here once in a while to read peoples comments, I thought you deserve a little update:

When I was developing the Steam Version of this game, I've learned a lot.

So say goodbye to the well-beloved(?) unprecise timer. Yes... I'm a little ashamed to tell you.. But the timer was unprecise and varied depending on framerate.

BUT: NOT ANYMORE. Now comparing your times makes actually sense..

Talking about comparing times. Some absolute legend named "Nxjfjhdhdhdhdnj" (yes, that's actually his name) submitted Pixel Speedrun to speedrun.com.

Which means you can submit your highscores and replays to the official speedrun website to fight for the fastest times!

SECOND COMMENT

• added WASD controlls

• added more stats to the endscreen

• Personal Best is now saved and displayed
