Hey, I'm trying to learn how to run this game, and can't see a "save.dat" file in my %appdata/roaming/Oneshot

Any suggestions of what to do? I've completed the game through solstice before, and I know you need a fresh file so don't want to just disqualify my runs right away.

Just delete the entire file in the appdata tbh

Delete both that folder and documents/my games/Oneshot to be able to start a new. If there isn't a file, that probably has to do with solstice?

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll try deleting the oneshot folder and see what that gets me. If I keep the documents/my games/Oneshot will it screw up?? I wanted that so I could open up the .exe

I have a different folder that I messed up naming so for me it's called New Folder, but go into Steam Folders until you find one with steamapps. If you find that, go to steamapps>common>OneShot. That file should always exist and should contain _.exe

i tried doing the hthing where i deleted my actual save data but i forgot to remove the backups
