So about 6 years ago I may have been the first one to discover this very specific glitch in Field Trip where after the first cutscene with Marlin, Nemo's model will freeze and then shoot forward based on the last directional you inputted. I figured out that I was able to get it more consistently by MASHING THE CRAP OUTTA SQUARE (X on Xbox, B on Gamecube). Afaik its only really useful in this particular level, I havnt been able to trigger it on other ones yet. I call this trick "Fishstick Dashing" if I really am the first to discover this.

The glitch has been known about since at least 2015/2016. It does indeed happen when you dash on the same frame a cutscene starts. It is useful but it isn't practical most of the time.
