Hi! So recently ive been trying to do RSG Speedruns on 1.20.30, but it feels so uncomfortable, laggy and its way more difficult to get a decent seed in this new version because of the new cherry forrests biome... So I thought maybe i could use a launcher to play the 1.19 or 1.18 versions. (And once i get a good run in the 1.18+ category try some runs on the super og versions).
The thing is I found this launcher: https://bedrocklauncher.github.io (Which apparently is great if u want to play older versions), but i dont know if it's legit to use that launcher in order to get a valid run on the leaderboards.
I wish someone (either a mod or an experienced speedrunner) could tell me if its okay to do the runs on that launcher so i dont waste my time on it. It would mean the world if u guys could help me out on this one :D
Also I apologize if my english is not good (Is not my first language). Greetings -Acnauuj
i have no clue, but as long as it isn't pirated or gives special things (non-vanilla) it should be fine i think
Indeed, we do allow launchers that let you downgrade the game.
We do not allow launchers with other kinds of features that would give an unfair advantage.
For Windows 10 and 11 I know of at least the following launchers which are ok and used by various runners:
Perfect, tysm guys!
Also @AnInternetTroll , just to be clear (my brain is low IQ when it comes to undersand a couple things on different languages), apparently the launcher I posted about is the second you posted the link to right? If so i guess i'll keep using it bc the launcher itself feels way too smooth.
Sure, afaik the second link is just a reskin of the first
Hello Runners.
We have a new rule for all platforms, for random seed runs.
After completing a Top Run (Top 5 Main Category/1st ILs), you must exit the world and go to the main menu.
For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
For Ps4/Ps5, this rule
