This should've been done around a year ago and it's my bad for not realizing this might be an issue, even though this leaderboard has been largely inactive.
I added a variable that determines whether runs are skipless or not. Considering the most recent 100% run being much faster than skipless runs using the Alt+Tab skip, I ultimately decided these runs must be separate from each other.
For Big Fish Runs, "Skips" will mean narration disabling. Therefore, Skips will be the default run type due to every Big Fish run having disabled narration. As a result, most CD-ROM runs will be found under the "Skipless" run type.
I added "All 3 Worlds Rounds 1 & 2" as a category. I have no idea why this wasn't a run category already because it seems like the obvious next step. This has also been done because the Big Fish Games version doesn't have the hard levels apparently.
Also due to this realization about the Big Fish Games version, any references to a "Game Type" variable have been removed from 3rd Time and 100% categories. If you are playing on Big Fish Games, "All 3 Worlds Rounds 1 & 2" is essentially your 100% category.
Thank you for reading.
GuestD has been removed from the moderation team due to inactivity. Since there is nobody else left to moderate the board, I, @MIEBER, have become the new super moderator. With this, I am also announcing a change in the way this board is ran.
First of all, the CD-ROM and Big Fish versions of the game have now been officially separated. You can only disable the narration on the Big Fish version, which causes a significant time save and is clearly unfair to those running the CD-ROM version. If there are any more differences between the two versions, please let me know.
Secondly, verification is now required. Runs submitted before I became mod have been verified for the most part. I cannot vouch for GuestD, but I think since they made the rules their runs have no reason to not be real, so I left theirs alone. I left mine alone because I know my runs are legitimate.
Thirdly, if your run doesn't have video evidence in the first place, it will be rejected. I cannot verify runs without evidence. A few runs have already been rejected because of this.
I realize this may be a problem for runs from years ago whose videos have been removed from YouTube/Twitch for whatever reason. I have DM'd you on this site to inform you that you need to resubmit the video if you happen to be one of these people. This may be bypassed if another runner on the board can confirm that they've seen your run before it was taken down or you were the previous moderator. I will revert my rejection if there is proof or a verifiable witness. GuestD made the rules and I have no reason to suspect they broke them in their runs, so I'm not going to bother with them for the time being.
Fourthly, feel free to DM me on this site to ask for mod or verifier. I don't think this board needs many mods, but more mods than me wouldn't hurt.
I will not accept you as either mod or verifier if you do not have a run on the board or pending. I may have to verify your runs first before I accept you.
If you're one of the I Spy series moderators, you will likely become super moderator if you just ask me for mod. I'm pretty sure you've both contributed something to this board at some point.
I will not make anyone else super moderator. The series moderators can add who they please if they become mod on this board.
Thank you for reading.
