The two most convenient ways of pushing the tourist from Architectural Epinage are the watter cannon from a Firetruck or placing him over a Packer. The pick ups helped me at two points, navigating inside the tunnel, which is very dark and locating the delivery point at the end of the mission which was made invisible because of the RC Baron setup.
