Just wonder what the best way to have them would be as I have never made my own before and want to have some for this game.

I'd recommend this layout, could be changed but this seems most convenient.

LIVESPLIT LAYOUT: Level 1-1 Level 1-2 Level 2-1 Level 2-2 Birthday Cake

That way, you'll be able to account for every level you have to play in order to beat the game. A normal timer is fine as always, but I'm glad to help.
