Crowsworn Kickstarter 3rd Anniversary Speedrun Event

Hello and welcome to the Crowsworn Kickstarter's 3rd Anniversary Speedrun Event!

What is this Event?

This is a speedrunning event put on by Mongoose Rodeo and community staff to find the fastest player at the Crowsworn Boss Demo. Celebrating 3 years since the launch of the Crowsworn Kickstarter, the Mongoose Rodeo team is once again gearing up for their Kickstarter Anniversary stream on Twitch and they had a special idea to include YOU in their stream.

The event is simple, from Monday August 5th at 2 pm EST to Thursday August 8th at 2 pm EST record or stream yourself speedrunning the Crowsworn Boss Demo and get the fastest time you can. Upload that run to the speedrun leaderboards, and the runner with the fastest time at the end of the event wins!

What are the Prizes?

The prizes for winning the competition are as follows:

Players who get 1st place through 5th place are eligible for the following prizes:

• Play with the Devs! - You get to join the developers of Crowsworn on their Twitch stream for games of Crowkart! Crowsworn's #1 kart racer!

• x1 Steam Key of the Crowsworn Backer Demo to give to a friend! (Windows Only)

• x1 Steam Key of Crowkart to give to a friend! (Windows Only)

Can I Participate?

• If you have the Crowsworn Backer Demo and can update to the latest build version at vKS.DB.2.111, you can participate!

• The "Play with the Devs" prize requires you to be 18 years or older, have a functioning microphone, and available to join the Crowsworn Twitch stream on August 9th, 3 pm EST at https://www.twitch.tv/leth.

• There are no age or stream-ready requirements to receive a Crowsworn Backer Demo Steam Key or a Crowkart Steam Key.

• If you have no experience with speedrunning or recording video game gameplay, please see How to Record & Submit Crowsworn Speedruns to Speedrun.com under the guides section of this leaderboard to get started!
• To submit speedruns for this event, please go to https://www.speedrun.com/crowsworn_demo and click the "Submit run" button under the default category listed as "3-Year Anniversary Event".
• Regardless, if you are new or old to speedrunning, please remember to reread the rules of the competition above and the speedrunning submission requirements for this category and leaderboard which can be found HERE.

I Submitted my Speedrun Time, Why Don't I See It On the Leaderboard?

All speedrun.com submission times must be manually approved by leaderboard moderators. Please have patience when submitting your runs. All runs submitted within the timeframe of the event will be counted and, if verified, your run will be displayed on the leaderboards.

My Speedrun Got Rejected :(. Now What?

Please carefully review your note as to why your speedrun was rejected from the leaderboards, and attempt to fix the issue presented. When you believe that you have fixed the issue, you are welcome to submit times again. If you are still unclear as to why your run was rejected after reviewing the note, please reach out to @clarkotron on Discord through the Crowsworn Speedrunning Server or Speedrun.com Direct Message.
