Hi, with the new changes to the game are we going to see a category for the gauntlet clear? I think that would be an amazing category. I saw there is a gauntlet% but it doesn't look like its for the gauntlet mode itself. Correct me if I am wrong.
No. We are not going to run that category, because from my own playtesting and several others, to keep it 100% honest, it seems like SUCH a PAIN IN THE ASS to run. Because it would be clearing the "story mode" of halfsword and beating all the bosses in gauntlet. Which seems like hell, and not fun, so we arent doing that anytime soon. The last thing we need is some bullshit long category ruining the fun.
i mean if you wanna grind a multiple hour run where if you die twice (abyss and normal match) your run dies go ahead. It just doesnt sound fun :/
We are fully aware of the new game update, and I have some positive news to share. I'm currently talking with the devs and mods, and my plan is to rebrand this place into the OFFICIAL Half-Sword Speedrun site.
I will NOT lie to you guys, this WILL take a few weeks to get set
