The akatori speedrun team on Discord recently discoverd that you go faster with high fps.

To be fair for all the runners with bad PC's :

All runs on PC from now will be capped at 120 FPS

You must also have enabled the FPS overlay to show current FPS value. Here is a game to setup the game for this new rule.

1. Enable the Fps overlay.

Launch Akatori and do "shift + click" to show to steam overlay. Press the settings button on the bottom of the screen. Go in the in-game tab and then enable the in-game fps counter and high contrast color.

2. Set the game to 120 fps

Open Nvidia control panel and click "manage 3D settings", Click program settings and Browse your akatori file with the little arrow pointing down.

If it is not on the list click add and browse your game .exe file.

Then scroll down the list and modify Max frame per seconds and set it to 120 fps

3. What happens if I do not set the fps to 120 or show the in-game fps conter ?

If your not WR:

You recive a comment on your run saying that you are "cheating" and if you resend another run that's not 120 fps capped. Your run gets banned.

If you are WR:

Your run gets banned.
