I noticed you guys went the console split route, which is obviously for load time differences. I wonder, since the game is so short, if loads are consistent on each. Why not just manually remove them so the boards could be combined. Fun fact, I'll be running PS2 version, so it would be 6 categories each with 1 runner.
Sorry for the late answer I completely missed the notification of your message. You are right about the console split, it's about loading times. At first I separeted consoles because I didn't wanted to remove loading times, but I still was considering to do it. Then I played the PS2 version and I noticed something a bit different from the DC version. The collision with the metal beam seems to be more brutal on PS2 than on DC version. So seeing that, I felt that the game was a bit modified when it was ported to ps2, and this is enough to me to keep a console split because there might be more differents things that I'm not still aware of. DC -> PS2 -> I don't own the game cube version (yet) so I don't know well how this one is running.
