some tips and tricks

i researched some things about this niche game, and so being quite forgotten

the only glitch i could find is the lives exploit, when you run out of lives and spin out, when you respawn you'll respawn in the same position as last time, but the lap will count, allowing you to essentially skip laps (after you do the first), this skip works in these tracks: alien contamination 1 and 4 and all mountain vault ones except the last one (boss race), there's one in the mothership 3 but it is luck based since it is also a respawn exploit

the main character is the best, though eddie is slighly faster than him

never drift because it will always oversteer you to a wall no matter what

despite the true final boss being mandatory to beat the game, you don't unlock anything for beating it, you must do the stories again on hard to unlock the special levels, but don't stop playing after you beat the first since it will force you on hard even when it's locked

for emulators, check the "emulate disc speed", because if you don't do that, you won't get any speed from boosting at all, making it impossible to beat the game unless if you use the shortcut exploit on other tracks which is difficult
