hi im planning on running the gears series and was wondering does the timer have to be present on screen or do we just have to provide a video and splits.io as proof ? the reason i ask is because i have alot of issues trying to get my capture card working on obs and generally for the most part the games i run have an IGT screen at the end so a video as proof is all that is required unfortunately iirc gears of war doesnt have an IGT screen any information will be greatly appreciated.

Not necessarily as you can time the run offline on another PC or laptop and add the splits.io URL when you submit a run. It is recommended to do so and have a timer, but if you can't then doing the splits offline and submitting to splits.io works too. So yeah welcome to the gears community too :D
