Im Very Much Keen to Organise a LOTD Speedrunning Marathon of Sorts to help grow our community the event will be over a couple of days (3-4 Days to accommodate time zones and availability of people) a dates yet to be confirmed.

Hoping to make it an Yearly Event

Heres the Catagories for the Event

Lotd - OG Run Any% Lotd - GX Run Any% LOTD - 5DS Run Any% Lotd - Zexal Run Any% LOTD Arc V Run Any% LOTD Vrains Any %

(Note above runs are to use the story decks)

NO Banlist Race or sorts - Mulitple TBc Banlist Race or sorts - Mulitple tbc Battle Pack Draft Race - Any Category can be nominated for this

Maybe Duelist Challenges Run Any%

Guys Let me know if your interested in being a part of this

Getting runners should not be a problem there is few active runners in the community

Could Also raise a few dollars for a charity of something in this event also if people want to do something like that

Hey Everyone

You would of Noticed i have added Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains Category and updated the 5Ds Category rule (1 Duel Was Added)

This has meant i have made a Decision to make a temporary placing for old runs effected by this change in a misc section on the full game Leaderboard. To me i do not like Rejecting Runs i felt by having this temporary category we acknowledge the effected runs for now.

Im in the Process of contacting all effected and are simply asking them at some point in time to re do the category they did and then we can remove there old run and eventually that section in the full Game Leaderboard or the section gets removed at a certain date

I Think 4 Runs have only been Effected. (2 EZScape, 1 Shauny7188 and 1 Pretends2Know)

People May also ask a lot of the runs under the old Master Rule should be removed is well.

To Answer this i say no to that simply for the Reasons as follows

1. Not Many Submitted Runs yet for Link Evolution and the runs have not been fully Optimized

2. Runs Submitted under the new Master Rule will Result in Faster times for Completion of Certain Categories meaning Records will be still be broken

We are very "Fortunate" not to have any no Banlist Runs as majority of people if submitted would of run an Exodia Deck as the New Update now has a Exodia Animation and would of Resulted in slower times and resulting in removing runs under the old version of Link Evolution.

Also i have had many people Query about why is the Tutorial Duel Not Part of the Speedrun as you can play this as a Normal Duel.

The First Duel of Each Series is meant to be explanation (Tutorial) of how the mechanics work in that particular category yes it can be played as a normal duel but a decision was made on the old Legacy of the Duelist in 2015-16 when i wasnt involved for the reason just Explained in this paragraph hence why we start on the Second Duel

This Rule will Definitely not be changed as it would make 200+ Runs Invalid on the old Legacy of the Duelist game and all the Runs here invalid here seriously Effecting the LOTD Community.

Just interested what moves people consider that are good and efficient for clearing free missions

Im planning on doing an all free mission speedrun just for fun atm im well aware currently this game dosent have this for a catagory.

DLC Characters not included

Of Course Tager or Mergy would have to second this proposed idea

This gives us more options to speedrun

Personally wouldnt run them myself but I think we could incorporate duelist challenges somehow
