Just so you know, recording to local harddrive is more intensive on the computer then just streaming to twich and using a vod to make a highlight.

So, since no one had any update/comments I would officially like to request the implementation of 100% with the following rules.
Beat both easy and hard mode. Add the IGT on the score screen for both modes to get IGT for run. Time spent on score screen should be less then 10 second in between levels. You can start with whatever difficulty you want.
I like the idea of 100% but here is how I would implement it and why. I suggest just finishing the first level, waiting for the score screen, then if you hit the right button twice it will bring you back to the menu and there you can select the second difficulty. And I would use combined IGT of both levels for the timer. The reason why I would be against using RTA because then you need to start taking into account when would RTA start, when would it end, couldn't you just reset the cart as soon as you do last damage to first level to start second level faster? In order to keep it simple and easy I would prefer that you would just finish a level normal, go thought end screen, credit screen, then back at main menu to start second level. When you get to score screen there is a couple of seconds where you can't skip it and that should give players more then enough time to look up in the video what was their time for that level. What do you guys think?
My opinions aee more or less the same. Ditch rta since we have igt and its one of the more accurate methods of tracking time. I agree about having game audio. For the time being i dont think the need for a dd glitch category is needed. Maybe when we have a few more runs with it sure.
Yeah, I saw both the deny and your response. I just submitted a run earlier and replied back asking again for it. But I'm guessing that they will now tell me to wait 21 days, so maybe you'll get it first.
I read that most cases they require a submitted run for it but it also said that they can accept people with a run already verified so I was hoping that would have been enough to qualify but I was wrong.
I second what @CharlieCreston says. I forgot that internet is a thing for streaming for a moment (sorry). Streamlabs is way better then OBS, both for streaming and even just for recording. If you plan on doing more runs/uploads it's easier to use it to create overlays and such.
Actually I just read the rules and it looks like they were never really built. I want to suggest then when someone gets the mod role that we update the rules just state that videos are required for submitting times and that we only use in game timer for it. Also, what is everyone's stance on the damage glitch? Me personally, I have not been able to recreate once in about 100 attempts but just cause I'm bad at doing a glitch doesn't mean I think we should change it.
Hi, I actually only requested mod cause there was another runner, Associatedfeetballer, that submitted a run, never got approved and messaged me about it asking if I can take over mod. Since I already have a couple of games that I'm mod of, one more wouldn't hurt. Now with that being said, if I do get mod I am not opposed to having a second mod/verifier to verify runs since I do log in once a week or so. Or just passing mod all together to someone else and just having me as a verifier.
@Daravae I'm sorry about that, I'll make sure next that if this comes up in the future I'll have a run submitted. I have one submitted now for Just One Boss https://www.speedrun.com/just_one_boss . I actually managed to PB so it was a good thing that I needed to submit one :D Also if my run is too new for me to get it, I'm ok with @CharlieCreston getting mod so at least one of us can verify runs
Video is required for all submission. OBS is pretty easy to use and record your stream, and I actually suggest streaming to twitch as it saved your vods and from there you can make a highlight of the actual run that you want to submit since it takes less processing power to stream then it does to actually record locally.
Hi guys! I'm requesting mod access to Just One Boss https://www.speedrun.com/just_one_boss. Current mod has been offline on this site for 9 month now. He's only outside link was on youtube where he hasn't posted anything in months. I send him a message on speedrun.com and there have been on attempt from a month ago on his youtube channel to try and get him to verify some run. I have runs already verified for this game.

Based on what I've seen you could carry the DD glitch over multiple phases but at the same time, as much as I've tried, I could not recreate it myself. So I guess Anthonya would be the one to actually answer this question.
I would prefer to keep it IGT, I think it's more accurate then RTA would be. I think what Risible is referring to is the effect of the game slowing down for a couple of frames whenever you take damage?

Also, turnipp is right, from my testing you have 2 pixels to the right of the character model to work with, since the death box is the actual pixels of the character model, but the pixels that are used for detecting if you are standing on the ground are actually 2 pixels wider to the right side, not sure if they are also to the left.
