The runner in question unfortunately passed away, and their YouTube videos became unavailable. The policy for Classic Sonic generally is that if the video was available at the time it shall remain up. This video and time shall remain up not only due to that policy but out of respect to a greatly respected and talented community member who is no longer with us.
If you post your issue in one of the s2-1992 channels, we can get the right people to help assist (such as autosplitter developers)
Could be something with the autosplitter that is an All-Emeralds specific issue.
We are currently retiming the run since the autosplitter doesn't seem to be used. Also, moderators have up to 21 days to verify a run before the runner has ground to press the matter. Obviously I don't mind since you have no ill intent and we appreciate the board activity, but I can assure you your run will be verified before 21 days and there shouldn't be a need to raise a concern again, the mods here are pretty diligent in that regard.
Hello, that is not on our list of allowed emulators, the emulators that are allowed are listed in the game rules: "The following unofficial emulators are allowed: Kega Fusion, Genesis Plus GX (standalone or through Retroarch.) Links to these emulators can be found in the Resources tab."
Moderating is a thankless job. This proves it. Be less rude and condescending next time, and people will be more likely to help you.
The runs that were deleted were nowhere near historical times or competitive times. There is also absolutely zero need for a separate board when there are 4 total times that are PAL. You also admit that you are an outsider, so I'm not sure why you feel you have a stake in the argument here. Sonic 1 only has a PAL board with one total run on it because someone chose to get WR with it, which was scrutinized right away, and PAL was banned over 2 years ago. We did not want the same case to occur in Sonic 2.
Again, like what was stated above, all these games were designed and developed in NTSC regions, not PAL. If there were different glitches in PAL, your point of choosing the best version would make sense, however, PAL has identical glitches and is much harder to obtain than NTSC. This decision is final.
That's basically already what you posted. See in Ben's screenshot how it says 3ba8e40 after 1.7.4 in the bottom left? That's what we are looking for.
because the category rules state NTSC only. PAL is an unfair advantage on an IGT board, so only NTSC is allowed, and majority of players use NTSC. the PAL category is all-encompassing of all PAL runs because there are only 3 total PAL runs. no need to split the board again when there is only 3 total PAL submissions
Hello, can you post the version number of your Genesis Plus GX core here to see if it matches the Retroarch core version?
New Candy for game Brown Candy-Makes you Poop on the floor like 173 White Candy-Makes you not die for 1 minute Black Candy-Makes you have protection from SCP for 7 minutes (Really Really Rare) Gray Candy-Makes you strong so you can kill SCPs Evil Candy- When you eat this candy, it turns evil and you die (really rare)
Hello, the mod team has gone through many changes as to who the verifiers and moderators are. The rules and moderator teams have changed over the years, however we do not opt to remove runs from the board that were under old rules and old moderation.
make sure you use your original nintendo then what you want to do is take your grey box and plug it into the nintendo and then take the other end of the grey box and screw it on to the threads on the back of your tv then you have to turn it on and set it to channel 3 and turn on your nintendo and you should see the game let me know if you have any questions just remember to screw on the grey box to the thread on your tv so that its tight enough also it wont work on channel 4
