unless i'm incorrect about when the true final level unlocks, isn't this basically 5 medals/all badges? as far as i know you need to have beaten bowser (medal 1), get all 10 coins (medal 2), all flag tops (medal 3) and all wonder seeds (medal 4) to unlock it.

definitely doable, the only one you'd have to manually unequip is the parachute badge after obtaining it as far as i'm aware, unless any new one you get is forcefully equipped if you're not using any badge at that moment

i will say that it's possible to do a 100% run without the need for grinding coins at all if you gather enough of them during the run. i finished a run of 6:02:19 about an hour ago as of writing this, and i bought all standees before i even played the final 2 levels.

that's far from the optimal way to get standees though, you're better off buying about 2/3 of them as random ones before switching to the special world shop

turbo controllers shouldn't be allowed, as they can mash the button far faster than you could normally do yourself.

for full runs, how does starting the timer on confirming a new game, and ending it once movement stops after the second phase of the big drill sound?

ignore the above comment, after watching the pending run i understand how broken it is, will be prohibited from now on. please let me know if there are any runs that are currently accepted and make use of this, as i haven't noticed this before.
