Last online: 10 days ago... usually the standard wait time for inactivity is longer than that. They have twitter, twitch, and discord profiles linked, so if you really can't wait, then send a short polite message to let them know there's a pending run to verify.

improvements?
Did a first run casually, many deaths, of 100% and it took 1 hour 25 minutes, so maybe about an hour for a fully planned run.
Not so much for myself, but for others that might come along. Who knows though, I may come back to put a time on the first pyramid. It's not high on my list of games to run though.
Sorry if my post sounded aggressive, and thanks for making the change.
Why are the end of the speedrun categories arbitrary rooms, as if the game doesn't have an ending? If breaking it up is more interesting, I think the more obvious points are at the end of each pyramid.
When an in-game timers lists a time like 1:23.4, entering 4 for that last field makes more sense than 400 when you're not thinking about what ms means, and you're just matching what's displayed.
Interesting idea, it's kind of like low% NG+ :D
I see the mods viewpoint: given you always need to load a save file, you've chosen to use a sub-optimal save. The interesting point is that it's the most sub-optimal you can have. You could argue that this kind of challenge should have a separate section, but the mods need to consider if that might open up the idea of having all sorts of challenge runs for different types of save files.
Normally that wouldn't happen. I don't know all the details for unlocking the DMD difficulty in Devil May Cry 2, but it seems like by design it's something that happens once you have a completed save file. That community decided they only want to track NG+ runs for higher difficulties. Sorry that your run doesn't seem to have a place on the boards.
@Former_Inputslave What's the point of disagreeing with what I do? I answered the question of how I deal with getting bored of running a game. There's nothing to disagree with there, that's what I do. I wasn't suggesting OP do the same, or that it would definitely resolve their boredom. My second point was a suggestion to stop speedrunning for a while, and just enjoy playing games casually. How is that something to disagree with while at the same time you're suggesting the same thing, to stop speedrunning.
@Truen1ght9237 Anyway, since Ratchet and Clank speedrunning was never boring maybe go back to that, post some times, get involved in the community and check out the rest of the series or similar games.
@Former_Inputslave you disagree when I said play a different game, or when I said to stop speedrunning for a while? Then you go on to suggest playing different games and stop speedrunning?
This is the problem with asking random strangers to help solve your problem. You're going to get all sorts of conflicting and contradictory opinions. There's no explanation given for why you're not enjoying speedrunning, so we're all making assumptions. If you're feeling this way, it's best to sit and think about why you're not enjoying it. It could be the games, your living situation, your lifestyle, or any number of other reasons we can't glean. Good luck.
or stop speedrunning games for a while, and learn to enjoy them again, it's not something random strangers are going to be able to solve for you.
What game? You should consider someone coming along eventually to do an RTA style run, and have a separate category for each.
I'm not really seeing a common theme in the games you've chosen to run. Keep it up though, I think you've selected a nice variety.
Here are some Game Boy games that don't currently have runs, but might have some interesting strategies to explore:
Crazy Castle series -- no runs of 4 and 5 yet Cyraid Lock n' Chase Solomon's Club Ultima: Runes of Virtue 2
This is @Toad22484 's list of short NES speedruns: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fPEQQSVp59jQ8oMXJfK3nMqBvRqBNM-NujavBo5T6lg
You can already add additional variables to submissions, even make them required. Only thing that isn't currently an option is sorting by those variables. For one of the puzzle games I did a "speedrun" for, I made a step count variable, with my main goal being to get the lowest number of steps. Having the lowest step count doesn't always mean having the lowest time as there are animations involved with pushing some blocks that could make taking the long way around slightly faster in terms of time.
I would have preferred having a table that tracks the levels based on step count and another based on time.
Lost Kingdoms is probably a good place to start.
I'd suggest asking for moderator in this thread: https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/322

What button combinations other than d-pad left+right or up+down normally can't be done? Most emulators restrict those combinations by default.
