Finlandcurrently in a vc with dnvic and while he was looking for his gv-usb2 i remembered that that capture card used to be THE speedrunning capture card but after its price increased from like 20$ to 60$ you just dont hear about it anymore. so if you capture with rca/composite what card are you using?

-i get wanting to make the game covers be the same size but it looks super dumb if the picture isnt in the aspect ratio the site wants -on /forums/ why is the "you didnt give us money" thing so big? -the theads are hard to read when everything is way more compact -circle shaped profile pics suck. -the resources page is now even harder to find for new users. (used to be right under the three dots at the top center) meaning more threads will be made "where do i download livesplit????" -why cant you see when a user was last active?
-apparently shift+enter makes a new line on the editor but not onto the actual post everyone sees
-why was the (your)pending runs button removed from the top bar?
-misc categories are maybe too hidden. i first thought they were just gone because i couldnt see the thin few pixel thick arrow
-you now only see the first 13 runs of a category when you open a leaderboard. back when the game info was on the left you could see at least the first 30 runs. the new update made this drop from 20(i think) to 13.
-runs with no run date appear as "never" on the leaderboards for somereason.
-do these platforms really need to be bundled? there is definetly no space for them....

Anyone else have the bug on the forums that if you post to a thread the "new" text on the left of the thread or subforum wont go away? started happening to me sometime this week

timing should be real time as there is gameplay between levels and i believe timing should start on making a new file. the rules here dont make it clear if this is a normal ng category or a "do timetrials of all levels in a row" category. id say we should add the game time column for those interested in comparing igt.

there is no difference in variables between the non showing run and the "3rd" place run the only difference actually is IGT, runner name and video link
might be nitpicking but its really annoying when every category has a % sign on the name. like how much is novice% out of 100%? pls fix >:DD
So yeah i want to make a SNES and N64(and ps2 someday) input displays my self since well they cost a bit and shipping costs a bit but my problem is i dont exactly know how to make the input display.
i know you need an arduino or similiar, an extension cable and the nintendospy code thing. is there a video tutorial or something out there?
yeah i want to get a new composite capture card since my (magical) easycap is not working and is very bad and the composite to hdmi converter i use currently is super bad and stuff like that.

So yeah i record alot of stuff i do and for some reason the videos are many gigabytes. There is this video i recorded in 2019 it is 1:43 long in 720p 60fps and the file size is 38gb like what sense does that make then some videos are 8 plus hours long and are only around 15gb.
yeah could we get other platforms as options? there exists gc,ps2,xbox and pc versions of this game and i for somereason own the ps2 version and i was bored so i did a run and want to submit it but i cant really do that because the only platform option is gc
(sorry for the weird cut off but dont want to ask the whole question in the title) so is it possible to mod the snes to output component? (for better capture quality of course)

Edit [Feb 27 2020] : yeah haven't been looking at the submissions or anything, ive basicly completely frogotten this game exists but if people really need/want me to update it ill maybe do it. Also if somebody wants to take over moderating the drift points just contact me on discord and we'll see what we are gonna do (you should have some html, js ,css skills :P )
