I know this has been said in the rules and in the forums here before. but from the videos on the consoles to the PC times. Its hard to tell When you are suppose to start the time and when you end it. Ive seen some where they start right when they selected Area 1 and end when they are back at the level select screen. and some start when you start playing the game to when it is Area 4 Log Out. What is the right definition as I want to make sure my time is counted Fairly. Please and thank you.

I saw a video of someones record time for the PS2 version. however they only did Areas 1-4. Does Area 5 not count or does it? Im wondering because I just did a recording of Rez Infinite for PC of Area 1-5 with video With my time recorded with Livesplit. I just want to understand what the rules go as I want to make sure I submit a run thats accpeted. Thank you.
