In that case I would suggest 2 categories. 100% either Rapier or Stilleto. How does that sound? Both would be different for about 30 mins on pathing.
Discord ey? Would it be Allright for me to join in? It may help speed things up.
So quick question. It would seem that you can aquire the stiletto or the rapier. Not both. Would all of you say that is an invalidation? Or would the stipulation be get one or the other? It looks like it can be done in about 6-7 hours.
Hmmm. Well then, I'll start gathering maps and info. This is going to take a while though.
I was wondering as to the lack of a 100% run. Is it impossible or just dependent on rng too much?
Straight up. Is it faster to run English or another language?
As it is. I would say no. If we get an in game option to skip ahead then sure. But as the game is, no.
I'll be updating the condensed list with my annotations and where I am making changes to form takes. The guide doesn't use any of the slot tokens in it's example. So in adding them in and Using proper technique at Wildlife Safari... You can hit Shang in 2 circuits. As we practice this we are less concerned with strongest form but also optimal technique. So the guide calls for the greyodons to always be your ez mutates. Except for the last boss I'm fine with any form for fighting. But Zen is a must. I'm running the areas over and over to find the fastest I can. But It is going to be a bit. Due to clash and rage not being available it will take the two runs. Right now my estimate is about 8 hours to start.
That's perfect. I found an old IGN guide for a 100 run. Someone there took great care to put it together. I made a compiled checklist off of it as well. I'll link both.

If you can get just the shots over head where you can still see the Item placements I can edit out the hud. I was mostly thinking of an over head where I could write out the individual items and beast placement. I was going to do the overlay on my battle grids irl and take photos to upload. I work best when I can draw maps out. Hell the grid based maps are the best part of the CoH series as well.(Class of Heroes)
I was thinking about doing that. Though I am not in any way literate in messing around with settings and things. I'm running on 5.0. I'm going to do a slow run next for placements and type sorting. I think a 100 in 1 run will be needed for a decent time on this. And I'm saying that after realizing that after second run Pale/dark and Dark Purpials at 4 limb don't have enough pieces to eat after run choice. With Grizzly you get snake in the grass on first run and I missed the purpials. On second run the PD/D are replaced with C/R.
As to the post you made about the timing on jump resets... I ran several dozen timers. Every single fight was nearly 3/4 faster. My timing is terrible so after practice I'm sure someone could do it frame perfect. It would shave minutes off like you suggested.
Does anyone have a map of the game with item placements yet? If not then I'll start on that for this run. I finished my refresher run this morning at 18 hours for a max 100%
Sweet. It's been a few years since I last played it. But it's perfect for my ocd. And every time I play it I don't stop till I hit 100%.
I think... my best might be around 30 hours? But I've never attempted a fast play on this game. I'm excited for the challenge.
Was just running a practice run this morning. Set for my first sub 55. Completely forgot the second fuse.
Roger that. This was my first GCN game and the only one I still play besides Metroid/Pikmin. I didn't see anyone having done 100% so I want to fill it in a bit. Are there any known issues that would stop anyone?
I am going to be using this for the first time with Cubivore. Does anyone have suggestions for autosplitting on this game or are there good marker places for splitting manually?
I'll be trying this out today and seeing how it feels.
UPDATE!
So it would seem that it is based on movement. Not just action. I tested this running all 3 starts at level one all the way to max limbs. It does in fact speed all 1 limbs up. But the moment you have dash it is a time loss. You need to move what seems to be a half step without L held down and it resets the timing. It's faster to let go of L and just hold R while biting.
Is there a difference in the game speed as to what language is used for ps4 slim? If not then cool.
