they're not there speedrunner, he just wants to know how to get in there.
Once under those circumstances, but it also prevents you from seeing the cutscene.
Friendly reminder that the intro skipping was found with glitchy codes active that had already had the person enter a file once to get a position saved to allow them to warp under the file select screen. The codes may mess with the loading in a way causing this to happen, and intro skip may not even exist. ;3 Just so that's clear. Could be possible, though!
Sirena early only works if you have defeated the polluted piranha plant but the M isn't painted on the Bianco Statue yet.
It still works if the M is painted on if you've yet to load something. If you had it painted, enter Bianco and exited, you wouldn't be able to go into Sirena, but you could have him paint it, not enter, and clip in once.
120 is collect all the stars, no restrictions (^:
The point of removing the numbers is to describe the categories and avoid unnecessary confusion. Any% is and will always be Any%.
No, I was saying I knew it had. It's also been done by Pyroshade. And I wouldn't make such a claim without running it ;3
Alright, so I brought this up in the mod group and the opinions varied, but I think we should change category names from the XX Shines to a more descriptive name. I suggested some, but most of my suggestion were bad or long.
Any% 79 Shines - All Level Shines 96 Shines - All Physical Shines or All Shines, No Blues 120 Shines Any% Hoverless 50 Shines - Any% No GBS/EYG 58 Shines - All Episodes 20 Shines
Obviously, some of these names are bad, so if there are names you think are better, you should definitely say that. This thread is mostly meant to get community opinion on whether or not they should be changed, so yeah, go nuts. FrankerZ Also; If you have any other suggestions for the leaderboards categories that are non-name related, feel free to mention that here as well.
First of all; Practise and practice are two different words, though practise was dropped in american English. Gohgo, being from Canada, you ought to have learned this, as you learn British English there.
Second; PAL and NTSC-U have different signals, and most capture cards have settings to handle either of them. If it's on your TV and not your capture card, I doubt there's a fix. If the issue's capture only, you probably just need to change the settings from PAL to NTSC-U. An example of the signals messing up TVs, though, would be with my TV. I can't play my PAL copy through component with my TV from what I can tell. If the issue is a capture card issue (rather than a TV issue), feel free to tweet at me and I could try to help, though.
Doing runs doesn't make you part of the community, friend. I've never once seen you in any twitch chat for any runner of this game, and I doubt you've made an effort to speak to any runner in a way outside of these forums.
The fact that someone who's virtually nonexistent in the community would have the audacity to make a strawpoll to "decide on potential SMS Mods in the future" baffles me.
IGT is incredibly accurate for this game
Accurate to the minute ;3
1Ups, I think he's referring to the leaderboards being flipped around for IGT ILs. Currently there's no way to flip the leaderboards around for IGT, Ben, there was meant to be ages ago, but the update for speedrun.com never came. We (Mostly I) have just been waiting for that so that we could just check an option for the leaderboards to be flipped, but, like I said it never really happened. If it takes too much longer, I might just make it so we subtract the IGT from the total time, but for now it just gets to look a little wonky.
