You can remap buttons from the system settings

I have tried the patcher but the game crashes after exiting First Avenue. I found an old XP laptop and I use that when I need the PC version.

I just finished the game to 100% on PJ64 1.7 (the PC version crashes on some levels and I can't finish the game) and I want to speedrun it. What's the fastest version for speedruns between N64 and PS1? PS2 and GCN are excluded because I don't have those.
