The way those persons get the top 1 its just ctrl c ctrl v getsize 9999999 and the level ends without a second (cheats enaabled)
And that would be the reason to not make a cheatsallowed% category... 0 second runs are kinda dull
Besides lowering all settings to make the graphics easier on your computer, you could try to adjust priority of the active programs. On windows that would be Opening taskmanager, going to the "details" tab, select the program(s) and rightclick to open action-menu and selecting "assign priority". Making the Recording software and RoA high or even realtime priority forces the computer to focus up. It helps me with some games for smoother output.
Hello Luukz,
I do not use the Game Bar but as for the audio: My OBS video files have a very Low audio setting, so reviewing the original video files is usually silent to me as well. With the OBS videos I turn up my speaker volume to max and hear the game sound like through a fog. Though the Youtube uploads always bring the audio to normal volume again. Might be a similar problem?
Personally I agree with this! It also allows for documentation of these records. There is a few arguments to not make a leaderboard:
1 the RoA3 leaderboards are already online so recordtimes can be tracked ingame
2 there is at least 1 level with a restart-glitch allowing you to skip parts of the track because the castle is no-longer solid. This might require a leaderboardsplit or additional rules for this leaderboard.
There is at least 2 ingame leaderboards: The PC leaderboard and the Console leaderboard. I think this split is nessesary since the non-patched game on console has more momentum/max speed and some patched shortcuts.
I base this mostly on my own experience trying for the La Mancha, Egypte and Dover shortcuts and the grind for Sub 1 minute on Bologna. While WoodyX rampage has an easy-esk route for sub 1.
There is for sure a jump involved. The moment of impact on the stairs-bit (@22 - 23 seconds in the posted video) is a jump. As for hitting it correctly: The video attempt I am able to show are a 1 out of ~30 attempts to get over the wall. I do not know if the other runners have found a more consistent set up. For me: Jump into the stair-shaped wall and pray it works.
First up: Cool idea! Secondly tho: Our LB is kinda small and more misc categories might cause (near)empty places. Also, with my current Timetrial Grind, it would take me forever to get a good run.
Edit: Did an attempt that took 15 minutes, also stacked my Sum of Best with my timetrial PB's+10secs. that would be 10 minutes.
It is a Capcom game, so any platforms they support probably. It is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/587620/Okami_HD/
As a small note to the Trento comment: It seems that some timetrial levels do not have all of the castles walls extended with invisible barriers too (A timetrial of Wallachia that shows it: ).
The portal behind the gate is not disabled if the gate is undefeated. Video evidence: I tried leaping the castle of Sparta and encountered an invisible wall. Will try other levels and update if any are possible.
A second game-breaking clip/skip found in the RPS Final. In a good PB (maybe even WR) run, I skip a boss-hit cutscene and get stuck inside the pit.
Glorious Zeppelin and the Problem is shown at the end. I tried stacking into the smaller doll outside the pit but charlie can't reach there.. Game over
During a speedrun attempt I clipped through the railing after flying with the pelican. Doesn't seem to have any uses but a funny moment none the less.
Video: Clipping through near the end.
I got a sub 34 pace run dying by a double Out of Bounds clip during the Rock Paper Scissors stackbattle. First time I quit and reloaded and it happened again. Not usefull but odd to say the least. at the end (of course) around 33 minute mark.
@Guite, I see you look at the floor at some spots in the game and dont trigger the cutscene around that area (Wedgie-gate ambassador and station-3 entrance), are you skipping it by doing so?
