1. The movement of QGA route is obviously faster than Deepnest route.
2. Spore Shroom deals quadruple damage to THK in 1.4.3.2, which is allowed in NMG rules. So it will make THK fight faster. Spore Shroom is just on the way to deepnest and is easy to fetch.
3. In 1.5.78, spore shroom deals correct damage. So if you choose Deepnest route, just ignore Spore Shroom. If you have a perfect movement, QGA route is better. That's why WR choose this route. But if you lose time in Queen's Garden, it might be slower than Deepnest route. If you lose lots of time, it might be slower even in 1.5.78. So if you don't aim to be WR, just choose a route you like. If you aim to be WR, you have to choose QGA route and make a perfect movement.

I just use 'Save As Layout' to create a new *.lsl file. It's easy to swtich between different layouts.
