At 1:04 in the video, the speedrunner makes a massive, extreme jump. At 1:28, there is also a large jump. I have tried to replicate these, but it seems impossible in the live version. I have done a shorter jump at the 1:28 part where I cover most of the jump, but not all. Can someone PLEASE explain how this is supposed to work?

After all, you can track how many times the candle icon “bounces” per minute, which is 28. If it had been sped up, it would bounce more.
