As I mentioned previously, we've been talking about adding a Mercenaries category. A few questions come up with this:
- Is it something that would be wanted as a whole?
- Would you guys want it on the Full Game Leaderboard or listed as an Individual Level?
- There are quite a bit of characters in Mercenaries/Mercenaries Reunion/United; would categories for every character be wanted (Solo), or would you want to compare scores against many characters, and be able to filter results only you would want to see? Co-op will be mixed, with a user input function for characters; there would be way too many options to list and separate, which is why I ask if the same would be wanted for Solo

Howdy hey, me again. Thought I'd share some news regarding the Steam update.
From what I can gather at this point, they took some game options from the Switch version of the game and implemented them in PC. This includes the customized camera angle AND auto-QTE completion. We're currently looking into the update more, and as of now, we are looking at NOT allowing auto-QTE completion.
This update also broke the timer, so in the meantime while that's getting fixed, we will not be accepting any run that is done on version 1.2.0. Any run done on v1.1.0 can still be submitted, just a heads up that 1.2.0 is not up for submission at this point in time.
That's all from me, have a great rest of your day :).
Hey everyone, me again. Cutting right to the chase, I want to try and clean up the boards a bit, it still seems pretty scattered from my perspective, and in addition to this, I would like to move Segmented over to this board, and for any Segmented console runs, they will be put on the console board. In a nutshell, this is what the result would look like:

Let me know what you all would think about that, and if you have any suggestions, let me know. Until next time :)
Recently, RE5 has gone through a couple board changes (changing main categories, implementing LRT, etc.), and as a result of that, the WR History for NG+ PC/Console and NG Console have stopped being displayed. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks in advance!
After more recent discussion with the current mod team, we have decided that it would be okay to allow ILs from fullgame on the IL boards again. Happy running!
Edit: If submitting the VOD of a full game run, please provide a timestamp of the IL. You can also just highlight the IL and submit that way
Recently, TheDementedSalad realized that FPS affects chapter load-in times, loading screen times, the amount of time it takes to skip a cutscene, and how fast you can kick open doors.
However, this mainly applies to Solo as you have a set FPS going throughout the run. So, I'd like to take the time to elaborate on what FPS value you should choose when submitting a run.
PC Solo
- Input whatever FPS you were running on
PC Coop
- Because runners can run on different FPS and can switch FPS mid-run, please use the "-" option for the FPS
Console Solo/Coop
- Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 all run at (roughly) 60FPS; use the "60" option when submitting a run for any of these consoles
- Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Switch, and Nvidia all run at (roughly) 30FPS; use the "30" option when submitting a run for any of these consoles
- As of March 7, 2021, any runs done on PC cannot use Unlocked FPS, as PC and Console are mixed together on this board.
3 October, 2020
-New Game is now the primary category, New Game+ being a secondary category
-Categories of Solo and Co-op have been removed and instead have been made subcategories under the overarching categories, New Game and New Game+
The mods have decided to move Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape under sub games, so if you want to submit to either of these two, you will need to navigate to sub games and choose the correct category. Furthermore, LiN and DE will be deleted from the IL section. Have a good day.
