$300 glitch hunting bounty

ABOUT:

I'm funding a $300 bounty for Twilight Princess glitch hunting.

This bounty is for finding some new glitch, skip, sequence break, or technique that saves at least 60 seconds in the optimal route for Twilight Princess any% GameCube or Wii.

More specifically, to incentivize more glitch hunting on Wii, I'm providing two $150 bounties, one for Wii 1.0 any% and one for GameCube any% which can be both claimed by the same discovery if it saves enough time in both versions.

You can contact me on Discord @qwertyquerty if you want additional details about the bounty or want to submit your discovery. I will also occasionally update this thread if I decide to increase the bounty, clarify the rules, or add additional bounties.

I'll pay out the bounty via PayPal or your crypto of choice. Unless this post says otherwise the bounty is not yet claimed.

RULES:

The discovery must be RTA viable meaning you must be able to demonstrate yourself or someone else performing it on a vanilla copy of the game on an unmodded console and controller. You can still glitch hunt on emulator and get someone else to verify it on console.

The discovery must be allowed as per the category rules for any% and general game rules on SRC. This means, for example, CD streaming is a banned technique and may not be used as part of your discovery. There will be some exceptions to this rule likely, for example a credits warp would not fit the current any% ruleset (as timing ends when you kill Ganondorf) and it would likely cause a category split, but for that specific case I would still award the bounty.

The deadline for this bounty is June 15th, 2025, and it is first come first serve. Each $150 bounty can only be claimed once.

TIPS:

If you're new to TP I recommend joining the Twilight Princess Speedrunning Discord at https://discord.gg/tp and getting up to speed on the current state of TP glitch hunting in #glitches

You can also check out https://zeldaspeedruns.com/tp to get up to speed on the current any% routes, known techniques, and sequence breaks

If you're fairly savvy with code you can check out the work-in-progress Twilight Princess Decompilation Project or join the TP Dev Discord or the Zelda Decompilation Discord

Finally, The Twilight Princess Glitch Compendium is a fairly comprehensive knowledge base of known glitches.
