Played on Gameboy Interface, this run was an emotional rollercoaster.
Episode IV went about as perfectly as I could ask for on Day 1. I incorporated a new elevator cycle on Mos Eisley to save a good deal of time, but the cherry on top was a speedy tie-fighter roundup and the first ever deathless trench run to boot. Small parts of the Death Star and Tatooine could be cleaner, but a low 25:xx was more than enough today. Episode V was a trainwreck. Hoth 1 and Yoda training were uneventful, but I bled 2+ minutes of time on Hoth 2 and Cloud City. Episode VI started out mediocre and ended fantastically. Jabba's Palace was bad and I fumbled around on the Rancor and Sarlac segments. From there on, Endor ranged from good to perfect. Even with all the major and minor mistakes, this was a good World Record run. I'll have leeway on Episode V and the opener of Episode VI, but everything else will require near perfection to not bleed time elsewhere next run. Sub-1:10 will be possible, it'll be a question of when. For now, I'm moving back to clean up the trench run skip category.
