Good morning everyone. I'm new in this world, so I just want to set up everything and start speedrunning, but I don't have my old PS1 and PS2 anymore so the only way is to speedrun on emulator. Which emulator is the best and accepted to make Spyro speedruns? What do I need once I have installed it? Where do I download the game?where do I download the timer? I basically don't know anything, can you help me? Thank you! :)

1. Read the rules, tells ya everything about using an emulator.
2. Google how to set up the emulator of your choosing. Endless amount of tutorial and it's simple anyways.
3. No comment for download the game, I just dump my own.

I'm very sorry if my question is probably redundant, but I find this site very intricated and couldn't find anything in my interests. No emulators emulate every console. For PS1 games, duckstation or mednafen is probably your best bet. Downloading the game is illegal so you will need to figure that out on your own im afraid.

Ok no problem, thank you. I'll donwload Mednafen with Google livesplit, then. Anyway I point out that I can't find any clear, specific guide to start download these things you said, neither a list of accepted emulators for the site.
