Almost a year and a half later, and nearly 3,700 attempts in, I have a 21 in Vortex — very possibly the final minute barrier I'll ever crack in this category.

I set out to reach this milestone with a relatively sparse moveset. This 21 was achieved without advanced skittering or hill-hopping, has none of the new-meta tricks developed from mid-2021 onwards save for Turkeyvator, and does not have advanced Metalhead or Twilight Harbor strats. It doesn't even have Alpine Glide.

Thank you to all the friends who have supported me on this speedrunning journey — especially Thrasher, who has been unwavering in his support from Day One. I'm never going to give this category up — not with Vortaliany always in need of runners — but I think I've earned a long break from PB attempts.
