I have a question about timing runs.

For example: my 8-4 IL time is 44.893, which comes from 2698 divided by 60.09881387708959, but when I was doing the calculations, it was showing 44.89273291678908. My question is - when you actually round the time and when you cut off the numbers?

When millisecondss aren't shown, they just get cut off. When milliseconds are shown, they get rounded to the nearest millisecond. I know it's inconsistent and basically only done that way because that's how it's been for a long time and maybe we should switch to always rounding down.

I know that if milliseconds aren't shown, they get cut off, but I was asking rather about runs with precise timing, because andrewg's Minus World Ending run wasn't rounded, and my run was.

You work fast. xD But you can't check EVERY precise run and retime it, because it'd take too much time. Someone should do a re-timing guide to standardize timing rules. These are my thoughts.
