Due to high demand, All Story Levels and Any% now have a sub-category for runs that forgo the use of the Sprocket Rocket glitch.
This is due to the fact that many runners believe the glitch skips too much of the game and many players have requested a category without it in order to open the leaderboard to more forms of play.
I sincerely thank everyone who helped us come to this decision, and hope you enjoy running No Sprocket Rocket.
After discussing with several members of the community, we have decided to remove the All Diamonds category from the leaderboard and replace it with a more standardized 100% category for individual levels. This was done to both make Skylanders: SWAP Force's ruleset and categories be more similar to other games in the series and to make the individual level category accurately follow the full-game 100% category.
Several members have expressed concerns of this affecting their AD runs on boss chapters. As such, these runs have been moved to the 100% category and said chapters are also allowed to be played on a file with any completion.
The All Diamonds categories and runs have been archived. Submitting segments from full-game 100% runs to the new leaderboard is both allowed and encouraged.
Thank you for reading and understanding.
As of 03/08/2022, runners are now allowed to play the All Story Levels category using any preferred order of levels. The "Any Level Order" category has been deleted and all existing runs have been moved to the ASL category.
We appreciate everyone's understanding, feedback, and patience on this, and we hope that this change is beneficial to the future of Skylanders: SWAP Force speedrunning.
Whether to allow All Story Levels to be played in any level order or not has been a big debate in our community for the past several months. Allowing any order introduces many advantages for speedrunners, but also introduces risks to the leaderboard. Therefore, instead of changing the rules for the existing All Story Levels category, we have decided to add a new category called "Any Level Order".
This is a temporary fix. If players end up preferring Any Level Order instead of All Story Level's forced level order, then the ALO runs will be moved to the ASL board and ASL's rules will be changed.
