Nicely done 👍 What a way to put yourself on top by using emulation I fully understand now, your to slow in the Saturn version as by looking at all your times that are also hidden the only way your fast is on the PC version so by adding emulation and using different regions in the game you can make your times faster and you are literally the only person using emulation at all in the entire community that are posting any significant times, the only real good times for emu is using emulation for its arcade version which is slower and only for an arcade experience.
Some examples : lakeside fastest lap standard - pc you beat next best by 0.02 your saturn time is 0.24 slower than pc, yet your EMU time is 0.29 faster than the best your best pc time is, but yet it is 0.45 slower than your saturn time, half a second is ages in this game for difference
Forest 3 laps standard - your pc time is faster 0.14 than your saturn time yet your EMU time is 0.19 faster than pc and 0.33 faster than saturn
Mountain fastest lap standard - your pc time is faster your saturn again by 0.14 So clearly your fastest way of playing sega rally is pc
but what stands out the most is that 3donico has matched you and beat you on mountain (which is the hardest to stay constantly fast on as more turns and tight corners) on the pc version by 1.50 seconds, is also within 0.21 of your pc forest time 3laps, also 0.10 desert fastest lap for pc standard slower than your pc time , but can also be 0.80 than the emulation time you set.
now lets get to stratos 3 laps - your telling me that of all the years of sega rally been around nobody has ever got into the 2:27s EVER , your best pc time which is your fastest times overall through the whole leatherboards just makes it to 2:28s barley, your saturn times hasn't made it to 2:27s but your EMU time not only hits 2:27 4 times but smashes it by 0:51 a whole half a second.
yet your saturn fastest lap is 48.71, yet PC is 48.95 but EMU a massive 48.43 thats 0:28 faster a lap
as for desert championship run again your PC time is faster than your saturn time by 1.34 seconds, yet your EMU is 2.10 seconds faster than your saturn run, even your USA EMU is faster than your PAL saturn time by 1.26seconds and NTSC is so much slower than PAL, you said so in another post plus everyone knows it too.
So you see where I'm getting at here, without the emulation side of this game your times are not that great at all, yet seeing as your the mod you can do add what you please.
So that's why saying emulation needs its own category completely separate from saturn version for this to even be a completely relevant and fair to anyone else
I mean its easy to add the grip cheats to pc (not accusing just saying and also emulation for that matter) but it just seems weird that constantly your pc times are your fastest times out of pc & the saturn versions with people beating you in some categories but yet nobody can get anywhere near your times on Emulation at all with real saturn hardware.
Now im sure your going to come back with whatever excuses or answers you want to put and that's fine but still, going simply by evidence shown and what people can see on the leader boards somebody clearly has a faster way to play the game to achieve faster times compared to others and thus EMU should have a category all to itself
Yeah, that must be nice to make the rules, self-verify your runs and combine every platform and emulator so you have the greatest possible advantage by playing on NTSC Saturn, PAL Saturn, PC and Arcade emulator. SEGARALLY deleting their profile and not responding doesn't look good either.
Settling on North American Saturn emulator for Sega Car Touring Championship, that must have taken serious research. All platforms combined in that game too.
I have a Japanese Saturn, guess I I'm not getting any WRs.
@Lonne, can we get a separation of some sort? Why wouldn't this have been done by now?
