Category idea: All relics
What it says on the title. The idea is to get all relics in your inventory as quickly as possible. Finishing the game could or could not be required, depending on what we agree. Finishing would make sense, though there could be an argument for ending as soon as we get the last one.
Breakdown:
- Amulet of Storytelling / Sequent Flare: gotten at the start of the game, no need to path for it.
- Adamant Shard / Sixth Sense / Truestrike Pendant / Guardian Aura: combined cost 90g, can be obtained from most merchants. Should be trivial to path.
- Double Edge / Dubious Dare / Tome of Knowledge: combined cost 525g, can be obtained from Brisk's hidden merchant (I think only after Mirth?). Will need to path obtaining the Trader's Signet.
- Gold Tooth: 225g from Lucent, need to path.
- Mithreel Rod / Stereofilament Line / Bearing Rod: need to catch 14 different fish species. Shouldn't be very difficult to path.
- Salient Sails: cost 135g from the merchant in Mirth. Will need to path getting the plans and the merchant.
- Falcon-eyed Parrot: reward for 27 conches. Will need to path all the conches that the run will be getting. This will give us the plans for Mirth as a side-effect.
- Artful Gambit: gotten just before the Queen That Was, but notably do not need to fight her. Need to path in the Cerulean Expanse northeast, southeast, northeast, east.
I'll attempt to route this in the coming weeks (alongside my NG+ run). I'm sure a bunch of the conches can be obtained without much deviation from the any% route (if any exists; I haven't looked yet), but more would need to be pathed. We get a free one with the hidden merchant, and I can think of about a dozen others off the top of my head that are all <1m to get.
